I was given the pleasure of visiting Daniel Ilabaca on set for a Sure commercial he performed in last year. It was quite an interesting experience, as they had build a big silver ‘Ninja Warrior’ style obstacle course in Black Island Studios, London. The advert consisted of Daniel running up ramps, striding platforms in water, doing a large lache to some netting and eventually jumping through a ring of fire. The part of the shoot I was there for consisted of the leap to the lache high-bar, which was good fun to see as the rest of the crew definitely had little Parkour knowledge and they were clearly having an exciting time.
